How credits and request limits work
Credits and RPS answer different questions. Credits measure total usage over a month. Requests per second (RPS) measures how much traffic your application can send at once. A service can remain within its monthly credit budget and still hit an RPS ceiling during bursts. Conversely, a steady workload can remain under its RPS cap and still exhaust monthly credits over time.
